What is TRT?
Testosterone Replacement Therapy is a medical treatment for men with clinically low testosterone. It restores levels through injections, gels, creams, or pellets to alleviate symptoms of low T — fatigue, brain fog, depression, muscle loss, and reduced libido.
Testosterone in men declines approximately 1-2% per year after age 30. The reference ranges used by most labs were calibrated from unscreened populations in the 1970s and have never been updated to reflect this decline.

- Sleep disruption
Treatment Options
Injections (Cypionate / Enanthate)
Self-administered 1-2x per week. Most common and cost-effective. Typical cost: $30-80/month.
Topical Gels & Creams
Daily application. Convenient but risk of transference to others. $100-400/month depending on formulation.
Pellets (Testopel)
Implanted under the skin every 3-6 months. Consistent levels but less dosage flexibility.
Alternatives: Enclomiphene / Clomid
Stimulate natural testosterone production. Preserve fertility. Used when HPTA suppression is a concern.
